HAPPY LABOR DAY! It’s so good to have a day of appreciation for all of your labor. Thinking about firing up the grill today? DO IT. Clean eating almost demands that I do almost daily. Good eating — again, but isn’t LABOR DAY dubbed ‘the last real grilling date,” (not withstanding mandatory tailgating during NFL season)? So by all means break out the grill again!

The other day I was in the checkout line and picked up a Woman’s World magazine — because I’m a woman and THAT’S what I do — it was chalk full of Labor day grilling recipes. There’s one for Barbequed Spare Ribs, Philly-Style Steak Sandwiches with Grilled Onions and Provolone, Beer Marinated BBQ chicken, Blue Cheese Burgers with Red Wine Onions and Hot Dogs with Avocada Salsa and Sour Cream.
